Applications are invited for a two new academic posts which will build on PPE at ÌÇÐÄTV's excellent reputation.

The Director of PPE will be Professorial Teaching Fellow. The appointee will enhance the programme’s reputation both nationally and internationally, and play a leading role in shaping the continued development and direction of teaching on this programme seeing significant growth and innovation. They academic lead for our programme and provide strategic leadership in all aspects of teaching and learning. Apply .

The Director of Student Experience and Progression will be a Senior Teaching Fellow. They will support the bridge between the academic, pastoral and administrative provision of our programme. Theycoordinate and lead on pre-university widening participation, outreach, and recruitment activities; at-university transition from school to undergraduate studies, systematic ‘birds-eye view’ monitoring of student progress and welfare t; and the post-university development of alumni relations, linking back to recruitment, widening participation, employability and internships. Thank you to all of our students, recent graduates, and academic and administrative colleagues for our excellent results in the 2016 National Student Survey (NSS).

Every year finalists complete the NSS across the UK and it is a key component of league tables published in the media.

We are delighted to announce that in the 2016 NSS we have achieved an overall satisfaction rating of 92 per cent, above the sector average and an increase of 9 per cent. All contributing departments also scored highly, with PAIS topping the University and the Russell group tables for overall student satisfaction. ÌÇÐÄTV as a whole has risen by 1 per cent to 88 per cent.

We are looking forward to working with our great team of staff and students to further enhance the PPE student experience and to discuss results in detail at our Student Staff Liaison Committees.
