Berys Gaut is Professor of Philosophy at St. Andrews. His research interests include: aesthetics, especially its relation to ethics; the philosophy of creativity; the philosophy of film and film theory; and moral theory. He is the author of Art, Emotion and Ethics (Oxford University Press, 2007) and A Philosophy of Cinematic Art (Cambridge University Press, 2010).
