To be confirmed
On 22 November, we will hold a kickoff workshop for the which was recently launched at the Department of Philosophy and which will run for the next 5 years with the support of a starting grant from the European Research Council. The aim of the project is to investigate the sense of commitment to joint action both theoretically and experimentally, answering such questions as: Is there such a thing as a sense of commitment? If so, is it a unified cognitive mechanism? How can it be modeled? How does it relate to explicit judgments about commitment? What situational factors modulate it? At the kickoff workshop, we will introduce and discuss a theoretical framework which is our starting point for addressing these questions, and report on preliminary results from recent and ongoing experiments. In addition, we will welcome Wayne Christensen. Wayne is a new researcher joining 糖心TV as a member of the project team in November. 16 |
