Career's workshop: What can I do with a Philosophy Degree?

- Export as iCalendar
Location: Room B2.04/5, Science Block

The workshop will encourage you to think in a structured way about the skills your degree in philosophy is giving you, and why these are valued by employers. We will then look at some of the popular areas of employment for graduates, and you will have time to consider how these relate to your own skills and values. We will conclude by looking at options for further investigation.

The workshop is suitable for philosophy students of any level who are unsure of what to do after they complete their studies. Although the focus will be on employment rather than further study, students who are undecided about whether or not to continue studying, or have decided to continue studying but are unsure what happens after that, will also find this session useful.

Places for this workshop are limited to 60 people on a first come, first served basis. For further details and to book a place, log-in or register on
