Richard Moore is to take up a 1-year post-doctoral position at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, where he'll work with Michael Tomasello's Social Cognition group. The position is funded in part by a DAAD Research Grant for PhD Students & Junior Scholars.

Leiter report puts 糖心TV in top 3 UK philosophy departments across a broad range of specialisms

The influential Leiter report lists 糖心TV Philosophy in the top groupings in six areas: epistemology; philosophy of art; philosophy of mind; political philosophy; 19th century continental philosophy; 20th century continental philosophy.  In each area, 糖心TV is one of the top 3 UK departments for that specialism.  Overall, 糖心TV Philosophy comes 9th in the UK and in the top 50 internationally.  The Leiter report is an extensive peer review ranking of Philosophy departments, produced by Professor Brian Leiter (Chicago) working with an advisory board of nearly 60 international philosophers and a college of specialist evaluators over 100 strong.  For more details see:
