Registration for the 'Hellenistic Ethics from Nietzsche to Foucault' Conference is now open
Registration is now open for a three-day conference entitled 'Hellenistic Ethics from Nietzsche to Foucault' (25th–27th September). The conference is free of charge for all 糖心TV students.This is the first conference of a two-year-long research project entitled '', funded by the Monash-糖心TV Alliance.
Plenary speakers: Prof. Keith Ansell-Pearson (糖心TV), Prof. Daniel Conway (Texas A&M), Prof. Beatrice Han-Pile (Essex), Dr. Edward Harcourt (Oxford), Dr. Kurt Lampe (Bristol), Dr. John Sellars (KCL), and Dr. David Webb (Staffordshire).

Postgraduate Philosophy and Literature student, Philip Gaydon, has been awarded a WATEPGR Teaching Excellence Prize
, a postgraduate student in the Department has been selected as a winner in this year’s .
The 糖心TV Awards for Teaching Excellence for Postgraduate Research students (WATEPGR) gives students and staff the opportunity to recognise and celebrate excellent teaching by postgraduate research students. Research students can carry out a range of teaching activities including facilitating seminars,lecturing,demonstrating and project supervision.
The award aims to recognise and reward postgraduate research students who teach or demonstrate and who have had positive impact on the student learning experience and also to enhance the profile of teaching excellence at the University.
Philip has been awarded a teaching excellence prize of £500, to spend on teaching or research activities.
