Over two days, from 29-30 September 2025, the FINDEM team brought together twenty-five scholars from Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, North America, Europe, and the UK to explore topics at the intersection of democracy and finance.
FINDEM supports the relaunch of the Southeast Asia Social Policy Network

The Southeast Asia Social Policy Network () brings together researchers, early career academics, and practitioners regarding welfare and policy in Southeast Asia, complementing FINDEM鈥檚 focus on financial democracy. SEASPN鈥檚 next online discussion will take place on Friday 26th September 2025 (11:30–12:30 BST), concerning how class and ethnicity shape access to welfare. Register
