Double Degree Scholarship

The Award

PAIS is delighted to confirm that up to two scholarships are available for students proceeding to the second year of eligible Double Degree programmes in PAIS in 2026:

In cases where the successful candidate is attending ÌÇÐÄTV for year one and has outstanding ÌÇÐÄTV tuition fees, the award will first be applied to their tuition fee balance, with the remainder paid as a maintenance grant during their second year.

In cases where the successful candidate is attending ÌÇÐÄTV for year two of the degree, the full amount of the award will be applied to their tuition fee.

  • Candidates may apply concurrently to other funding sources; however, successful candidates who receive major funding elsewhere will be disqualified.

Deadlines

  • The department offers two opportunities for applicants to apply for PAIS’ Masters scholarships. Our first round is for early applicants, our second round is for those who choose to apply slightly later in the year. Those who have been unsuccessful in their application in the first round, will automatically be considered again in second round. We encourage all applicants for our scholarships to submit their course application at least 1- 2 weeks ahead of the scholarship application deadline.

  • Successful candidates must obtain an offer from the university before taking up the award.
  • Candidates may apply concurrently to other funding sources; however, successful candidates who receive major tuition funding elsewhere will be disqualified.
  • Candidates must supply their undergraduate transcript as well as their Masters marks to date no later than 31st March 2026 for Round 1 and 18th May 2026 for Round 2 applications.
  • Candidates who are not current ÌÇÐÄTV students must submit their ÌÇÐÄTV application no later than 11th May.

Selection Criteria

Each application will be judged on the following merits:

  • Outstanding academic performance (70%)
  • Outstanding case for support (30%)

Please note that this is not a needs-based scholarship, so your financial situation will not be taken into account.

Application Guidelines

The primary factor determining an application's success is the strength of the case for support, in addition to grades. This case for support should demonstrate why you fit the above criteria as well as reflect your motivation for choosing to do the Double Degree. Your case for support should be no more than 600 words in length and should differ from the statement of purpose submitted with your application to the university.

The application form can be downloaded here. This should be completed and submitted alongside your undergraduate and current Masters transcripts via paispg@warwick.ac.uk no later than 31 March 2026 if applying for Round 1 or 18th May 2026 if applying for Round 2

We aim to make a decision on applications within six weeks of the closing date. If you have not received the results of your application within seven weeks of the closing date, you may assume your application was not successful.
