Knowledge For Peace
"Peacebuilding is amiguous, elastic and politicised....as a concept and as a practice" (Bush and Duggan 2014: 304)
"Any fool can know. The point is to understand" (Albert Einstein)
The research project 鈥淜nowledge for Peace. Understanding research, policy and practice synergies鈥 aims to improve peacebuilding practice by looking at how research and knowledge about peace and its components are generated and how the politics of knowledge production impact policy making. The project focuses on transitional justice processes in C么te d鈥橧voire, South Sudan and Mozambique.
On the project website you will find details of conferences, workshops, publications as well as podcasts and forum discussions to listen to, read and react to. The aim is to create a knowledge network - you are welcome to join!
- Recent blog post: in which I reflect on this year's Geneva Peace Week and is connections to the project.
