How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Roundtable Discussion: ‘The Arab Spring, the Syrian Crisis and Turkey”.

Dear all,
This is to invite you to a roundtable discussion organised by the Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) entitled:

‘The Arab Spring, the Syrian Crisis and Turkey'

The speakers will be:

- Dr. Nicola Pratt, Associate Professor, International Politics of the Middle East
- Johanna Nykänen, PhD candidate, PAIS, studying Western narratives of Turkish foreign policy in the 2000s
- Zenonas Tziarras, PhD candidate, PAIS, studying Turkish foreign policy & the Middle East

Chair: Dr. Bahar Baser, PAIS, post-Doctoral Research Fellow

They will discuss the political changes to the Middle East since the Arab Spring as well as Turkish and Western responses particularly in light of the Syrian crisis.

The roundtable event is open to staff and students from any department and will take place at 6-7.30pm, Thursday 28 February, Room S0.19 (Social Sciences Building).

We hope to see many of you there.
