We are very pleased to inform you that Professor Wu Zhengyu from Renmin University of China is going to talk about the Belt and Road Initiave and China鈥檚 foreign policy at the 6th East Asia Study Group (EASG) seminar dated 19 February. All are welcome. The details are as follows.

 Time: 19 Feburuary (Tuesday) 11:00-12:30

You are cordially invited to the PAIS Film Club's next screening in the 'Hidden Lives/Hidden World' series:

Fanon, hier, aujord'hui (2018), featuring a discussion with the director and producer, Hassane Mezine.

A new documentary about the life and struggles of Frantz Fanon, the legendary intellectual and activist whose work was extremely influential in various academic fields from Marxism to Postcolonialism, and the author of seminal texts such as The Wretched of the Earth (1961).

Fanon died in 1961 and this documentary features interviews with those that knew him and worked with him, showcasing his revolutionary spirit and the extent of his influence on current activist and intellectual struggles around the world. We have the pleasure of hosting the documentary's director, Hassane Mezine, here as part of the world tour of screenings, who will discuss the project and take part in a Q and A after the film.

The film with include FREE PIZZA on a first come, first serve basis!
