How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

'Britain has never had a War on Drugs; soon we shall wish we had. Plus Q&A' with Peter Hitchens

An award winning journalist and author, PETER HITCHENS writes a weekly column for the Mail on Sunday in which he gives his (often controversial) views on a wide variety of political topics. He is the author of several books, including 'The War We Never Fought' in which he argues that cannabis is at least as dangerous as heroin and cocaine, and that 'To all intents and purposes, cannabis is legal in Britain, and other major drugs are not far behind'.

Speaking to us on the same topic, Hitchens is a vociferous opponent of drug legalisation and argues that the concepts of 'physical addiction' and 'withdrawal symptoms' are 'myths'.

After his talk he will also answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you for what is sure to be an interesting talk and passionate Q&A!
