How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Kei Koga: 鈥淎be, the Indo-Pacific, and Japan-ASEAN Relations.鈥
Koga will discuss Abe鈥檚 ASEAN policy in the context of the emerging concept of the 鈥淥pen and Free Indo-Pacific Strategy,鈥 and then analyze the role of ASEAN and the future implication for Japan-ASEAN relations.

Satoru Mori: 鈥淭rump, the Indo-Pacific, and Japan-U.S. Relations.鈥
Mori will first assess Trump administration鈥檚 Asia policy as well as the relevance of the 2017 National Security Strategy, and then discuss the outlook for U.S. engagement in the Indo-Pacific region, and examine its implications for Japan鈥檚 foreign policy.

Shino Wantanabe: 鈥淴i, the Indo-Pacific, and Japan-China Relations.鈥
Watanabe will explain Xi鈥檚 Asia policy including his pet project of the Belt and Road Initiative, and then examine major challenges and opportunities of China鈥檚 rise in the Indo-Pacific region. She will also discuss Japan鈥檚 recent policy toward China.
