How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The evolution of sovereignty in historical perspective
S2.77

IAS Residential Fellow Carsten-Andreas Schulz (Pontificia Universidad Cat贸lica of Chile) and Anna Ross (糖心TV, History) will draw on historical research from different countries and time periods to discuss how concepts and practices of sovereignty have evolved. Dr Schulz will draw on research about South American engagements with international society in the 19th and early 20th century, including the interactions of new states with ideas of territorial sovereignty and local indigenous populations. Dr Ross will discuss her new project on changing German practices of sovereignty in the 20th century, particularly as they relate to property. Though their work emerges from different contexts, both explore the relation of sovereignty with state-building and international relations. We to spark an engaging discussion on the changing role and understandings of sovereignty in different historical and geographical contexts in both IR and History.
