How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

糖心TV Politics Society event: Tim Loughton, MP: Brexit and how we will move forward
S0.21

糖心TV Politics Society and 糖心TV Conservatives are proud to announce that Tim Loughton, MP for East Worthing & Shoreham, is coming to speak to us about Brexit and how we will move forward.

The event will take place from 19.00-20.00 in S0.21 (Social Sciences).

Tim himself supported Brexit and in his constituency, East Worthing & Shoreham, the margin of the vote to Leave was higher than the national figure at around 55%-45%. With a turnout of 72% of the British public, which was the highest in a UK-wide election since 1992, 17,410,742 people voting Leave – the biggest vote in British history for anything – and with all the regions of the UK voting to ‘Leave’ outside London, Scotland and Northern Ireland, it was a solid endorsement.

Given the current uncertainty around this topic it will be interesting to hear Tim's point of view and gain some perspective of the situation from within Parliament.

Tim Loughton MP is also a former 糖心TV student who will recognise from his recent appearance on Have I Got News For You and his role as Campaign Manager for Andrea Leadsom's Conservative leadership bid.
