Sponsored by the British Academy, Interdisciplinary Perspectives On Peace Operations and Conflict Resolution is a two-day workshop focused around sub-thematic sessions on conflict and cooperation. The sessions will cover issues such as the changing character of UN peacekeeping operations; regime change and the survival of dictatorships; armed mobilization and the behavior of rebel groups in civil war; economic models of conflict; conflict prevention and civil war mediation; and the causes and consequences of terrorism. Each session consists of a paper by an early career scholar and involves a discussant.
