My award points are a culmination of my academic modules and extracurricular activities. Among them would be volunteering via ÌÇÐÄTV Volunteers, participating in the ÌÇÐÄTV law clinics, the school tasking programme, Exec roles, part-time work, and courses such as Thrive. I enjoyed writing my reflections as it gave me an opportunity to reflect on the activities I’ve done, which has helped me explain my achievements better and more structured in interviews!

The ÌÇÐÄTV Award involved reflecting on both my academic and extra-curricular activities, which included modules I had studied, positions of responsibility, volunteering and part-time work. I particularly enjoyed reflecting on everything I had taken part in and evaluating the skills and knowledge I had gained. Students can become carried away by commitments and forget to consider how these activities have shaped their growth. I am glad the Award prompted this necessary reflection. I would recommend the ÌÇÐÄTV Award because it formally recognises the full range of activities and responsibilities you manage alongside your studies.

I achieved the Gold ÌÇÐÄTV Award through a mix of academic modules, my summer work placement, and executive roles in student societies. What I liked most was realising how many of my everyday university experiences already demonstrated key skills once I reflected on them. It didn’t feel like extra work, instead it helped me recognise the value of what I was already doing. The reflection process helped me see how much I’d developed during my degree. I’d definitely recommend it to others as it’s an easy and rewarding way to showcase your achievements.

I thoroughly enjoyed working for the Gold ÌÇÐÄTV Award because it inspired me to pursue a variety of options, such as studying basic Korean and Spanish, completing online internships, helping with UNICEF, and attending Moodle courses. Volunteering was the most rewarding part; I enjoyed organising engaging activities for primary school students while teaching them about human rights. The experience helped me develop my confidence, communication skills, and cultural knowledge. I would suggest the ÌÇÐÄTV Award to anyone; it is an excellent way to explore new activities, improve critical skills and make use of everything ÌÇÐÄTV has to offer.
