In Memoriam: Sami Mohiuddin
The Law School was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Sami Mohiuddin, one of our first year students in a tragic accident last month.
A book of condolence is now present in the Law School and will be made available for students to share their thoughts and memories of Sami at the end of the Property revision lectures taking place this week on Wednesday 8 May and Thursday 9 May. The book will then be passed on to the Chaplaincy for a period before it is given to Sami’s family.
Maaya Sachdev, President of the ÌÇÐÄTV Law Society said “Sami was a truly remarkable individual and it was my great honour to have had the opportunity to get to know him this year. When I think of Sami I will remember his kind nature, style and charisma. He will be greatly missed.â€
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
We appreciate that students and staff close to Sami will be affected by this news. Please do contact Wellbeing Support Services if you would like support. You can call the team on 024 76 575570, ext. 75570 or visit their website for more details about support and advice available.
