Last weekend saw the inaugural Centre for Education Studies’ residential study weekend take place in the stunning setting of Gregynog Hall in the mid-Wales countryside.

Students from across the department – undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD – were able to spend time together with academic members of staff in a series of thought-provoking education-based discussion and study sessions. An evening of relaxation and socialising followed, culminating in staff and students battling it out in a hotly contested pub quiz.
