On the 11th February 2026 the DEAR Centre was fortunate to host visiting scholar Dr from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad's Ravi J. Matthai Centre for Educational Innovation ().

In our Doctoral & Post-Doctoral Group, we had read some of Deva鈥檚 earlier work 鈥淚mpostor phenomenon in STEM: occurrence, attribution, and identity鈥� published in 2019 in the journal Studies in Graduate and Postdoctoral Education. Today Dr Chakraverty offered a fascinating workshop on metaphors and imposter phenomenon, which got us all thinking about the language researchers use to talk about imposter feelings.
