📢 DEAR features in the IETI Journal special Issue: 'Fostering researcher independence: 'What are the educational and professional development consequences in the doctoral context?'.
Following the culmination of a two-year collaboration project between the EARLI special interest group (SIG24) on Researcher Education and Careers and the Innovations in Education and Teaching International (IETI) Journal, a special Issue has been released entitled 'Fostering researcher independence: 'What are the educational and professional development consequences in the doctoral context?'. This was guest edited by SIG24 convenors.
The DEAR Centre features in this edition with a research article titled "Expectations of independence from the outset? The discourse of researcher independence in the pre-application stage of doctoral admissions"
Many of these papers are on exciting and innovative topics in doctoral education and are open-access.
