New paper: Improving the experiences of doctoral students at a distance: recommendations for policy and practice
Authored by , and , this paper draws on an international survey of 521 doctoral students from a range of geographic and disciplinary contexts who shared their experiences of distance doctoral study. The paper reports the successes, barriers, opportunities, and strategies that characterised these students鈥� experiences, 鈥榣ifting the lid鈥� on modes of doctoral study that have previously been underexplored.
