DEAR's March 2025 Reading Group looks at "Disclaiming/denigrating/dodging: white South African academics鈥� everyday racetalk"
On Thursday 6th March 2025, we held our DEAR reading groupLink opens in a new window. Following on from last month's reading thinking about solidarities in HE, the group discussed an excellent paper by Louise Vincent, and Zuziwe Msomi titled "Disclaiming/denigrating/dodging: white South African academics鈥� everyday racetalk". The paper was published in the Journal "African Identities" which provides a critical forum for the examination of African and diasporic expressions, representations and identities.
