We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming two-day Research Showcase Event at WMG. For the first time in many years, we will be opening up our labs, buildings, and research spaces to all University staff and then to family, friends, partners, and the wider community the next day.
12pm-4pm Friday 10 July 2026 : open to all University staff and invited partners.
10am-1pm Saturday 11 July 2026: open to all University staff with family members, friends, external partners, and invited members of the community. We ask that any children are accompanied by at least one responsible adult.
What to expect
- Self-led tours of our world-leading research facilities
- Opportunities to meet research teams and discuss their latest work
- Live demonstrations showcasing technologies and real-world applications
- Expert-led talks exploring key topics in research, innovation, and industry
How to book
Attendance is free, but registration is required. Please select a 15-minute arrival slot when booking to help manage numbers. Once you arrive, you鈥檙e welcome to stay as long as you like. If attending on Saturday, please include the total number in your group (including yourself and children).
