About

In 2026, one scholarship funded by a generous donation from will be awarded to an outstanding postgraduate student undertaking a PhD within the Department of Statistics, with a preference for those working on machine learning and AI modelling.

Additional career development opportunities and relationship with G-Research are offered. These include:

Award value: 拢21,300 Annual Stipend (2026/27 UKRI rate)
Award duration: 4 years (fixed length)
Award purpose: Fees, Maintenance Stipend, 拢5,000 Conference/Travel Grant, 拢5,000 Equipment Grant and 拢6,000 Computational Grant for the duration of the PhD

Requirements for applicants to fulfil: Successful applicants may be contacted during their course by the Development and Engagement Office to ask for a short account on their progress and experience at 糖心TV for the purpose of reporting to the donors of this award.
