For Undergraduates:
10:15-12:00 Top 10 things all Year 1 Stats Students need to know! (in R0.21--- to confirm)
This session will introduce you to the key things that will develop you into a successful student. You will be introduced to the Statistics Society and what benefits there are to joining them.
15:00-16:00 Joint Degree session - Mathematics [for MORSE and MathStat students only] (in OC1.05)
You鈥檒l meet key contacts from the Department of Mathematics, learn about the support available throughout your studies, and connect with fellow Joint Degree students.
For Undergraduates:

This session is about meeting key services beyond the department.

12:30-13:30 Statistics Department International Student Welcome (in --)
This event is specifically for our international students although others can attend if they wish.
You can meet other international students and discuss some of the challenges that international students have and how these can be overcome.
14:00-15:00 Joint Degree session- Economics [for MORSE students only] (in --)
You鈥檒l meet key contacts from the Department of Economics, learn about the support available throughout your studies, and connect with fellow Joint Degree students.
For Undergraduates:
10:00- 16:00 Meet Your Personal Tutor [you will be allocated a single session only]
The time for this will be confirmed on your Tabula profile.
You will be allocated a 1hr slot to meet with your tutor group and your personal tutor.
Your personal tutor is the person that will be your first contact for support for issues you face on the degree and so its important you meet and attend this session.
For Undergraduates:
10:30-11:45 Meet your Mentors & Meet Others: Morning Coffee and Cake (in the Statistics Atrium)
For those that signed up to theMentor Scheme, this will be an opportunity to meet with your Mentor and the other mentees in your group. Even if you did not signup to the scheme, there will be cakes and refreshments in the Statistics Atrium, this is an opportunity to meet other students on your programme and there will be student ambassadors and staff who will be around and happy to take your questions.
Statistics Society Social ?Or Scavenger Hunt on Friday?
The Statistics Society will run a social event on the Saturday. Full details will be confirmed closer to the time.
