Enhancing Student Engagement Conference 2017
The Student Engagement Partnership are hosting a conference for staff based in students’ unions and HE providers whose roles relate to the delivery, management or planning of student engagement practice within higher education. This will include those involved a variety of roles such as student representation, student voice, policy staff, those working in educational development, student/membership services and more. The conference is designed to equip practitioners with new insights and provide a collaborative space for development of new thinking and practice sharing on student engagement.
TSEP and its partners will be presenting on the day, including the formal launch of our major piece of research conducted in partnership with into the experience and engagement of ‘commuter students’. Delegates will also be able to choose from a variety of workshops delivered throughout, which will be based on four key themes:
- Inclusive engagement
- Student representation and voice
- Co-designing the curriculum
- Innovation and transformation in engagement
Following overwhelming interest in presenting at the conference, we have put together a very exciting and packed agenda of workshops and presentations led by colleagues from across the sector. The draft full agenda is attached (and will also be kept up to date here: ) and the deadline for registrations is January 18th 2017.
