Complexity Forum: Weisi Guo (University of 糖心TV)D1.07Molecular Communications - a Multi-Scale Paradigm: from Oceans to Bacteria In this talk, I will first briefly introduce molecular communications as a concept, and discuss why it is important to engineering. I will then showcase some application areas across multiple transmission distance scales, from applications in search and rescue in oceans to micro-scale communications between nano-robots. The talk will then attempt to answer: why does nature often favour molecules over waves for information transfer? -- NB: Catered Lunch |
