Events in MathSys and Complexity Science
This is a calendar page detailing events within the MathSys CDT. It also acts as a booking diary for the Seminar Room D1.07. To book D1.07 please email Sheetal.Sharma@warwick.ac.uk
Please note that your event booking is for D1.07 only. The adjacent common room is a private area for the MathSys Centre that cannot used as part of your booking.

Title: Mapping the patterns of depression in an Australian Primary Care Cohort.
Abstract:
There are few longitudinal studies of depression in primary care. The diamond cohort study has been underway in Australia since 2005. At five years of follow-up the cohort has data on up to 789 participants over ten time points covering up to 900 variables at some time points. As such the cohort provides a unique opportunity to map the patterns of depression over time and to identify predictors of persistent depressive symptoms and to develop prognostic models to identify those most at risk of persistent and disabling depression. I will present our efforts to map the symptom patterns over time and invite a discussion on possible approaches that could assist with future data analysis.
