Title: Attempts to model the dose response in humans following inhalation of bacterial infectious material
Abstract: Mechanistic but simple models can be essential tools to assess the risk of infection following inhalation of infectious material. Particularly the ability to extrapolate to low dose regime from challenge studies is essential for meaningful interpretation. This seminar will focus on recent work in PHE looking at the rationale for model choices and attempts to parameterise those arising.
