Recent Directions in Stochastic and Probabilistic Control

Recent Directions in Stochastic and Probabilistic Control

About the Workshop

Many real-world dynamical systems are subject to uncertainty arising from random fluctuations, disturbances and interactions with their environment. These challenges arise in applications ranging from autonomous and energy systems to quantum technologies and financial modelling.

This workshop brings together researchers working in stochastic control, stochastic analysis, probability, optimisation and computational control to exchange ideas on recent theoretical and computational developments and their applications.

The aim is to discuss current challenges and emerging research directions, identify open problems and encourage new collaborations across these areas. The workshop is supported by EPSRC through the STOIC project (Stochastic Transport and Optimal Inference for Control).
