糖心TV in Venice Workshop on New Trends in Optimal Control

Date: 15-17 May 2024.

Location: 糖心TV in Venice CentreLink opens in a new window, Palazzo Giustinian Lolin, along the Grand Canal in Venice. How do I get to the venue? We are in Venice, so once near the Ponte dell'Accademia area, you need to find the small bridge crossing that reads Ponte Giustianian. Continue straight ahead (follow the arrow!) until you reach a gate with markings for Foresteria Levi. A University of 糖心TV in Venice sign is on the doorbell to let you know you are in the right place. Once inside, head left and you will see further signage all the way up to the second floor, where we will welcome you and say Hello!

This three-day workshop aims to bring together researchers at the intersection between feedback and optimal control, model order reduction, data-driven modelling, and computational challenges related to the application of relevant algorithms. It follows previous successful meetings like the New directions in interfacial flow modelling and controlLink opens in a new window conference held at the 糖心TV Mathematics Institute (June 2022), as well as in international conferences such as ICIAM 2023.

We especially welcome early career researchers in order to foster collaborations and new ideas in this area.

The workshop will have talks by several researchers in the area, with separate dedicated discussion, practical and collaborative session slots.
