There are four main aphid pests of leafy salads:
- Currant-lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri)
- Willow-carrot aphid (Cavariella aegopodii)
- Lettuce root aphid (Pemphigus bursarius)
- Black bean aphid (Aphis fabae)
