Breakthrough in description of metals in brain which may drive the progression of Alzheimer鈥檚 disease, made by international research collaboration, including Dr Joanna Collingwood.

Assosciate Professor James Kermode, from 糖心TV's School of Engineering, is one of an international collaboration of researchers who have developed a new high precision machine-learning tool. Using an algorithm that accurately predicts the interactions between a protein and a drug molecule, it can predict whether or not a candidate drug molecule will bind to a target protein with a 99% accuracy.
