Progress Update
Since the last update a lot has happenned. The spaceframe has been 98% welded together and we have now begun welding on brackets for the suspension and engine mounting.
Many of the mounts used have been laser cut by the WMG thanks to Neil Timms, this has aided the fitting of the suspension mounts to the spaceframe as it can produce complex geometries.
The differential & drivetrain packaging system has been machined from allumnium using the school of engineering milling machines. Parts of the system were annodised orange to add to the car's colour scheme. The disk brakes are currently being cut using the same milling machine.
