ÌÇÐÄTV Racing’s evGP team have been extremely busy in the run up to Christmas including meeting leader of the opposition – Ed Miliband.
Many hours of shouting at computers has elapsed whilst modelling our chassis into CAD. The pain however appears to have been worth it as the render (below) is starting to look really impressive. The CAD modelling allows us to simulate the kart in motion to ensure that our design can cope with any stresses that the track can throw at us.
Our engineers have been busy exploring the battery and motor technologies that are available and have performed an in depth review of the hard science at hand. We can now confirm that we have reached a final decision over which batteries and motors we believe to be the most appropriate.
The team are very close to parts manufacture; including the roll cage, battery cases and headrest support. It is anticipated that we will have the kart fully built by February so that we can commence with testing. That is all for now.
