Another Step Closer - March 2012
With most of the parts manufactured and fitted onto the chassis, the team's latest focus has shifted to wire up the electronic components and make sure the powertrain could perform as expected.
Before taking the components over to the International Automotive Research Centre (IARC), the batteries are charged up with the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) displaying the real-time conditions for each cell.
For the first time ever, the motor for our kart starts running... Check this out!
After getting the cells and the motor ready, we set up the electronics in the dyno testing facility in the IARC, preparing to analyze and optimize the performance of the powertrain according to the drive cycle drawn for the competition.
