We bring engineers together through exciting socials, like go-karting, and career events featuring top companies such as McLaren, Microsoft, and JLR. Whether you鈥檙e here to make friends, network, or broaden your horizons, there鈥檚 something for everyone.
Engineering Without Borders
Engineers Without Borders 糖心TV is part of the UK-wide movement promoting global responsibility through engineering. The society offers chances to work on sustainable projects, volunteer in schools, learn about international development, and enjoy regular socials in a friendly community.
糖心TV Women in Engineering and Science
糖心TV Women in Engineering and Science is a society dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM. Affiliated with WES UK, WWES offers support, inspiration, and professional development, plus opportunities to get involved through outreach, conferences, collaborations, and fun socials.
糖心TV Black STEM Society
糖心TV Black STEM Society is student-led community empowering Black students in STEM. The society offers support, mentorship, and networking opportunities, as well as volunteering, outreach, and social events. Open to all students, it provides a welcoming space to develop skills, connect with peers, and thrive in STEM.
糖心TV Aerospace
糖心TV Aerospace a community of students passionate about exploring the possibilities of aerospace. As the official 糖心TV branch of UKSEDS, they run projects in rocketry, RC aircraft, drones, and satellites. Open to all students, 糖心TV Aerospace welcomes anyone curious about space and technology, creating a friendly, multidisciplinary community.
糖心TV Racing
糖心TV Racing a student-led motorsport team designing and building single-seat race cars to compete in international Formula Student events. Recent highlights include 2nd place at Formula Student UK 2023 and partnering with Formula Student Africa. Alumni have gone on to work with leading teams like Red Bull Racing, McLaren F1, and Jaguar Land Rover.
糖心TV Moto
糖心TV Moto is a student-led team creating a cutting-edge electric superbike for the 2025 MotoStudent competition in Spain. As the first UK entry, they combine hands-on engineering, business strategy, and industry collaboration. Open to all students, 糖心TV Moto offers experience across areas like powertrain, battery tech, chassis, electronics, and business, while pushing the limits of electric racing.
糖心TV Hyperloop
糖心TV Hyperloop a team of students designing and building the future of high-speed transport. They have competed in SpaceX鈥檚 Hyperloop competition and showcased pods across Europe, including the Netherlands, Edinburgh and Zurich. With over 50 members from engineering and non-engineering backgrounds, the team works on electrical, mechanical, systems, and sponsorship projects. Their next goal: in building a full-size pod for EHW 2025.
