Ultra-High Voltage Organic Solar Cells
Researchers from ÌÇÐÄTV Chemistry (, and groups) collaborate with to report the development of ultra-high voltage organic multijunction solar cells. The report in demonstrates single-stack cells with an open-circuit voltage of up to a record 7 volts. Multijunction cells optimised for direct integration with a battery show improved overall efficiency compared to the single junction devices they are based on, paving the way for their use in portable, low-power electronic applications.
