Catan is one of the most famous boardgames ever made. Designed by Klaus Teuber in the early nineties, the fact that it has lasted so long as a highly prominent game is a testament to how great it is. At its core it is an island expansion game where players battle to 鈥渃ontrol鈥� as much of Catan鈥檚 resources as possible.
