About the Project
The creative component of my SDA, GenoLife, is an app that is set in the year 2046. The app allows prospective parents to 鈥渄esign鈥� their future child through the selection and optimisation of genetic traits. Users are guided through a sleek and highly commercialised interface where they can select characteristics related to intelligence, emotional resilience, sociability, health, physical appearance, productivity, and even neurodiversity. The app resembles a combination of a fertility clinic, an online shopping platform, and a wellness application. It includes subscription plans, probability sliders, trending traits, and premium upgrades.
