Emerge
Emerge was established by 糖心TV Arts Centre () and the Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (now SCAPVC). At the inaugural 2014 Emerge Festival (see video below), graduate theatre companies (including Dumbshow, Fat Git, FellSwoop, Kill the Beast) participated in four days of events and experiments. In 2015, Emerge celebrated the university鈥檚 50th anniversary through 糖心TV 2065: Performance and the University alongside touring work from graduate companies including FellSwoop, Barrel Organ and Walrus. In 2016, curated the festival, forming their own student ensemble, and between 2017 and 2021 the festival was co-curated with alumni artists.
