The Importance of Creativity

Juliet is a teaching-focused academic who teaches on a range of programmes. As well as working in her home department (Education Studies) Education Studies - University of 糖心TV Juliet greatly enjoys her teaching collaborations with the Institute of Advanced TeachingInstitute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL).

Juliet's research interests lie in Higher Education Pedagogy; Creativity and Cultural Policy; Children's Literature; Interdisciplinarity; Discourses of Employability, Resilience & Placement-Based Learning in HEIs. In Spring 2026 joined an IATL Pedagogic Reading Club to lead a discussion on creativity. Keen to understand more about the importance of creativity for any discipline Grace Fisher, Editor spoke to Juliet.

As a Sociology and Global Sustainable Development student, Jess went to Newcastle to present their research project titled 鈥淒econstructing 'cis': an exploration of what it means to be cis without being binary鈥.

Interview with Authors Lauren and Halima: Special Issue 2024

Lauren Dowdeswell and Halima Nabirye are two authors from our recently published Special Issue on WorldCUR and BCUR research. Lauren, from the University Centre Reasenheath, focused her research on the biomechanical impact of assistance dog harnesses. Halima on the other hand, is a Registered Nurse with a bachelors in Nursing Science from Muni University, and she researched Breast Self-Examination in Uganda.

Aliya Pal and Kai Foerster are two published authors from our Volume 15, Issue 2. In茅s is a third-year undergraduate studying English and French at 糖心TV. I am thrilled to share the publication of our second volume of Issue 13 of Reinvention: Vol13 issue 2 published on the 31stOctober 2020.It鈥檚 been a challenging six months since the last edition (13.1) and I feel like it鈥檚 important not to take for granted the fact that we鈥檝e been able to pull the issue together despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
