Open to all current students who have taken or are taking an IATL module or received IATL funding, the IATL's Den supports IATL students in advancing their entrepreneurial ideas.

The highly regarded national multidisciplinary conference is for students to present their research and connect with other researchers. The conference will take place at the University of Glasgow, 1-2 April 2026.

Abstract submission deadline is 11:59PM (UK time) on Friday, 9 January 2026.

Are you interested in teaching, facilitating and/or supporting interdisciplinary learning in Higher Education? The Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) is now opening applications for the Postgraduate Award in Interdisciplinary Pedagogy.

As part of the IATL Serious Tabletop Game Design and Development module, 5 students, were given the opportunity to attend the UK Games Expo. This was a fantastic opportunity to show off their final games, and connect with industry professionals and creatives. They also took over IATL Instagram for the weekend posting about their experiences.

We will send you a Team invite with the link to the event before the event, and you will also receive a detailed schedule with the order of events, so that you can dip in and out of the meeting based on your interests. Or, you could grab some popcorn and stay for the whole two hours!

This special issue showcases peer-reviewed papers of research presented at the World Congress on Undergraduate Research (World CUR) and the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) in 2023 hosted by the University of 糖心TV.

The Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) offer an innovative portfolio of interdisciplinary modules for UG and PG students. Find out more at IATL's Module Fair - Wednesday 24th April 12:30 - 14:30 in the FAB Agora (Ground Floor).

IATL will be offering a new suite of Interdisciplinary Skills Sessions designed to enhance the learning of students taking IATL modules. Over the next few weeks we will be running sessions on Interdisciplinary Academic Writing, Ethics Application Support and Interdisciplinary Methods.
