"IATL’s funding was integral in my show’s success. My show ‘an evening with verse writer’ is a poetry play fused with music and art.
The funding allowed me to support student artists within university and beyond. Shown in the Coventry Shop Front Theatre, ‘ an evening with verse writer ‘ successfully opened a space for honest conversations.
It also won an Artistic Development Award and has now been commissioned for 2 nights - October 2 and October 3 in the ÌÇÐÄTV Arts Centre.

As a partner institution of BCUR we were delighted that 27 undergraduates from ÌÇÐÄTV were accepted and presented their research work at BCUR earlier this month. This year BCUR was held at the University of Sheffield and hosted students from 69 institutions, from a variety of disciplines. At the two day conference students had a fantastic opportunity to present their research work by speaking, poster, installation or performance, with ÌÇÐÄTV students participating in each element. The conference was busy, packed full of interesting topics and debates, it also offered the chance to network and socialise with fellow students and academics.
BCUR19 has already been announced, it will be held over two days, 15th – 16th April 2019, at the University of South Wales in Cardiff. Look out for a Call for Abstracts in the autumn term with a submission deadline during December 2018.
ICUR (The International Conference of Undergraduate Research) has received an Honorable Mention for ÌÇÐÄTV in the 'International Partnerships' category in this year's awards from the Institute of International Education (IEE).
