This symposium, supported through a major IATL strategic project, aims to bring together scientists, engineers and practitioners from across academia, industry, and NGOs to discuss, share and promote current research and recent developments across all aspects of engineering, from science to practical applications, which have a global Humanitarian Engineering impact.

You are invited to participate in and contribute to a future European and UK funding proposal on 'Smart Clothing to Self-Manage Chronic Diseases' through this workshop in which you will use co-design methods and prototyping tools to model your own smart clothing, with guidance from experts. The workshop is supported by IATL (through the Pedagogic Intervention of Dr Elisavet Dimitrokali in WMG) and the Behavioural Sciences GRP.

In light of recent developments, a celebration of that international vibe is planned at this event, which is open to all staff and students of the University and will feature a range of activities and opportunities to meet with fellow 糖心TV people, committed to fostering friendship across borders and cultures.

Join a mysterious chorus of Memory-Makers as they reveal an archive of memories, a box full of forgotten feelings and an oak tree of future hopes. This performance by Canley Youth Theatre and students from The University of 糖心TV, supported through an IATL funded project, has been created by collecting 'oral histories' about what we 'hope' for and what we 'care' about.

Our five-year business plan for the work of the (ICUR) and our international undergraduate research journal has been approved by the Monash-糖心TV Alliance. The plan also covers the development of the ICUR Experience - a yearlong suite of activities - including the new Compass Programme, which will support students in working together in international research teams.

IATL is delighted to announce the promotion of Dr Jonathan Heron to Principal Teaching Fellow. The promotion is recognition of Jonny's outstanding contribution to IATL and the wider University.

Following our recent funding round we now have over 50 ongoing staff led projects across the University (Academic Fellowships, Pedagogic Interventions and Strategic Projects), all of which contribute to IATL's strategic aims of innovation, interdisciplinarity, inclusiveness and internationalisation.

IATL’s Director, Nicholas Monk, is a contributor to this newly published volume. His essay looks at the "Native American Renaissance" of the 1960s and '70s. Members of the University of 糖心TV are able to read the book through the .
