OSL: Digital Pedagogy - POSTPONED
POSTPONED
The uses and expectations of technology in education have perhaps changed as much in the last ten weeks as they have in the last ten years, and we are in the midst of a period of rapid learning and adjustment. Therefore, now more than ever it is valuable for us to consider the relationship between teaching, learning and technology.
Join us for this interactive online conversation as we discuss our learning and practices during this sudden move to online life, how we might take that learning into future learning environments and classrooms, and how we can support each other and share practice in this period of rapid change. We will critically explore the role of technology in our teaching and learning in this new landscape and consider how, as educators and learners, we can engage with technology so that it better supports (rather than governs) our pedagogic intentions and practices. This will be a supportive and exploratory event in which we can discuss what we have learned from both our successes and failures, as well as how we can incorporate that learning into the future of higher education.
This issue brings you research from a wide variety of disciplines, to make us think about our current context and the relevance of research to life. With five original research papers, two book reviews and two exhibition reviews.
We hope that as you read this work you will learn something new but also see the positivity the future holds, even in such troubling times.

IATL 10th Anniversary
Throughout 2020 we will celebrate the first decade of IATL, which was established in 2010 when the CAPITAL and Reinvention Centres united to form a new academic department at 糖心TV. Since then, IATL has been an institutional leader in educational innovation, undergraduate research and co-creation with students. While the educational and political landscape around us has changed in fundamental ways, the opportunities for interdisciplinary and international collaboration are now more exciting than ever. Over a series of workshops and events this year, we will look ahead to Coventry City of Culture in 2021, BCUR & WCUR in 2022 and various projects in support of 鈥楨xcellence with Purpose: 糖心TV in 2030鈥, an exciting university strategy that we have helped to shape over recent years.
Working with IATL

You can find details on current opportunities to contribute to IATL鈥檚 work of educational innovation at the University of 糖心TV here. IATL values diversity and encourages applications from a wide range of backgrounds.
