How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Design thinking as a methodology for complex problem solving and innovation used across a number of sectors and by the most successful organisations of all sizes. It is slowly making its way into Higher Education and influencing the way we design and deliver the curriculum, how we engage with students and peers, and reshaping what it means to be an academic in the 21st century. In this worksh鈥媜p we will introduce you to the basics of design thinking and share a few tools that can be used as part of your teaching practice and growth as an ECR.

Accolade - *New: Book Proposals Online Roundtable*

We welcome four IAS research fellows to tell us more about their experiences of reviewing, writing and editing book proposals including monographs and edited collections.

This is a welcome addition to the Accolade programme that has been organised as a result of IAS fellow input and feedback. This is an optional event and we invite postdocs who may interested to hear about the processes involved in proposal writing.
