Good Research Data Management (RDM) is important for the success of a research project, whatever your discipline. This has been highlighted by all the major funding bodies, including UK research councils, the Wellcome Trust and the EU. Many bodies require Data Management Plans (DMPs) or statements as part of the application process, and these can later be incorporated in ethics proposals.
Publications often require associated research data to be made openly available, to demonstrate research integrity and promote data reuse. This is part of the Open Research movement. How should you share your data? Can you find and reuse the research data of others?
This workshop will help you plan good RDM strategies and highlight what resources are available to assist.
