Doing collaborative research: what it is and how to do it and live to tell the tale
Location: Wolfson Research Exchange
Research bodies increasingly encourage social scientists to engage in 'collaborative' research. What is this? What are its special challenges? Whether or not you are engaged in collaborative research right now, you need to know how collaboration differs from both cooperation and consultancy. In this session, Dr Layla Branicki (WBS) will discuss her experience of collaborative research with Professor Celia Lury, DTC Director. Everyone is invited to this session, though those of you who have collaborative studentships are especially encouraged to attend. It will give you the opportunity to find out more about collaborative research, ask questions, and make contact with others doing collaborative research projects.
